Billing questions

How do monthly plans work?

Your plan adds its credits every month. Monthly credits from your current plan that you don't use roll over, up to one month's worth of the plan, so you never hold more than two months' worth of them; credits from an earlier plan last until they expire, and one-time credits are never capped. We use monthly credits first. Upgrades apply at once and are charged pro rata; downgrades apply at your next renewal, where your monthly credits are capped at one month's worth of the lower plan.

Can I cancel my plan?

Yes, at any time, from Manage plan on the billing page. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for and then stops; the credits you have stay until they expire.

What counts as a minute?

The length of the finished video, rounded up to the nearest tenth of a minute: a 45-second video uses 0.8 credits. The landscape, square and vertical versions are included. Narration-only and voice-only revisions of a narrated video use 0.25 credits each. Each video is quoted at its maximum length (the length you choose is the most it can run) when you start it. You're never charged more than this quote; a shorter video costs less.

Do credits expire?

Yes, 12 months after they are added. We use monthly credits first, then one-time credits, and within each the credits that expire soonest.

What if a video fails?

Failed videos cost nothing. Cancelling after we've rehearsed your demo costs 0.25 credits. Retrying the square and vertical versions is free.

Can I get a refund?

Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase; used credits aren't refundable. Contact support@clipyoursaas.com to ask. When we refund a purchase, the refunded share of its credits is removed from your balance.

Are taxes included?

Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Sales taxes such as GST/HST are added at checkout, based on your billing address.

What is the watermark discount?

When we offer it, you can tick a box on the new-video form to add a small ClipYourSaaS watermark (bottom right) and pay 30% less for that video.
