Download landscape, square and vertical MP4s and captions, share an unlisted link, embed the player and find videos in your library.

Formats

Every video comes in three shapes, all included in its price:

  • Landscape: 16:9, for websites, help centres and YouTube.
  • Square: 1:1, for social feeds.
  • Vertical: 9:16, for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, with bands in your workspace’s brand colour.

Landscape is ready first, and the other two follow a few minutes later. Switch between them with the buttons above the player.

Downloads

When a video is ready, the Details panel beside it has a download for each format (Landscape MP4, Square MP4, Vertical MP4), Captions (.vtt), and Download script for the video’s script. Every narrated video has the captions file, even with captions off the picture; a silent video has one only when it shows step labels.

On a phone, Share video sends the MP4 in the format you pick straight to another app. Where your browser can’t share a file, it downloads the MP4 instead. The format starts on Landscape; pick Square or Vertical for a feed or a Short. Share on Instagram, Share on TikTok and Share on YouTube Shorts copy the caption from Suggested posts, then on a phone that can share files open the share menu so you can choose that app; elsewhere they download the MP4 and open the app’s upload page. YouTube makes a Short only from a square or vertical video of up to 3 minutes. The poster image isn’t a dashboard download: the API returns it with the video’s other files (see the video object).

  1. Under Share, choose Create share link. Owners, admins and the person who made the video can.
  2. Copy link to send it, or Open it to see the page your viewers get.
  3. If viewers may download the video, tick this box. It stays off until you tick it: Show a Download button on the share page (viewers can still save what they watch)

A Share link is unlisted: anyone who has it can watch the video. Revoke link turns it off at once. The buttons below it share the link on LinkedIn, X, Facebook or Reddit, or by email. Suggested posts holds ready-to-paste text for each network; for LinkedIn and Facebook, the button copies it for you to paste. Owners, admins and the person who made the video can edit that text. On a computer, Send to phone shows a QR code of the share link once you’ve created one: scan it to open the video on your phone.

Until your workspace buys credits, share pages carry a small “Made with ClipYourSaaS” footer.

Embed the player

Add /embed to a share link for a bare player of the landscape video, with its captions and poster:

Replace SHARE_TOKEN with the last part of your share link. The player works only while the link is on: revoke it and the embed stops too.

Your video library

Videos lists every video in the workspace, and the Dashboard shows the same library. Filter it with the tabs (All, Ready, In progress, Failed), or use Search videos to find one by its title.
